Do you wear sunscreen every day?
If so, you’ve probably found one you love and you know how important it is for present and future you! Perhaps you’ve seen the picture of the truck driver who accrued years of sun damage on the left side of his face or read the NY Times article that truly makes the case for sunscreen as the main way to prevent and even heal skin damage.
If you don’t yet, I’d love to share some of my favourite sunscreens – some are at the drugstore and some are at places like Sephora.
1. Supergoop Glowscreen – this is such a lovely base for makeup or just to add a golden glow on its own. It is light and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.
2. Olay Sensitive Mineral Skin Sunscreen SPF30 – a super gentle sunscreen that I like to use on myself and my little ones.
3. Coola Refreshing Water Mist. I bought this to spray my face before I walk home from work or just to add a little moisture in front of the computer – it’s smells like coconuts and has an SPF of 18.
4. Coola Dew Good Illuminating Serum (SPF 30): This is a pricier one so I did wait until it was on sale! You can find it at my favourite local shop, Garden City Essentials 💗. It is very light and promises to protect against blue light from computers. It feels very soothing (probably the aloe!) and is almost like a primer. Love it!
I’m still on the hunt for an SPF higher than 30 so if you have any ideas, please let me know!
